Sweeptech has successfully completed its JOSCAR registration, marking another step forward in the continued growth and development of our business.
Sweeptech has come a long way.
What started with our core environmental services has grown into a national operation supporting customers across a diverse range of sectors and increasingly complex environments. Along the way, we’ve continued to broaden our services, strengthen our operational capability and develop dedicated divisions that bring greater expertise to the sectors we serve. Now, we’re taking another step forward.
A growing business, built around our customers
Our environmental services remain at the heart of Sweeptech. But as our customers’ needs have evolved, so have we.
Today, our teams support customers across sectors including infrastructure, highways, construction, local authorities and aviation, with a growing range of services and specialist capabilities delivered through our national operation.
Our Aviation Division is a great example of that progression. We’ve developed dedicated airside capability and built experience supporting major UK airports, delivering services including airside sweeping, tanker services, interceptor cleaning, drainage and glycol recovery. We also support runway rehabilitation projects, bringing specialist environmental services capability to complex airside works. These environments come with their own operational requirements, safety considerations and challenges. Developing the people, equipment, knowledge and processes to work effectively in them has been an important part of Sweeptech’s journey.
And that journey continues.
Our next step
We’re now pleased to announce that Sweeptech has successfully completed its JOSCAR registration.
JOSCAR provides a recognised approach to supplier assurance across the Defence, Aerospace and Security supply chain, with participating buying organisations able to access relevant supplier information through the JOSCAR community. For Sweeptech, this is an important milestone as we continue to develop our presence and relationships across these sectors.
It also reflects the continued investment we’re making across the business — in our people, processes, Health & Safety, compliance, environmental responsibility and operational capability.
More than just another logo
We see JOSCAR as more than another addition to our credentials. It’s another step in the development of Sweeptech and another opportunity to demonstrate the business behind the services we provide.
As we move into new sectors and increasingly complex environments, the expectations placed on suppliers naturally increase. Customers need confidence that the businesses they work with understand their responsibilities, have the right processes in place and can deliver safely and professionally.
That’s something we take seriously.
Our experience across aviation, infrastructure and other complex operating environments has continued to shape how we work, while our specialist divisions allow us to develop a deeper understanding of the sectors we support. JOSCAR registration complements that approach and gives participating buying organisations another way to access information about Sweeptech.
Looking ahead
The Sweeptech of today is very different from where we started. We’ve grown our national operation, expanded our services, developed specialist divisions and continued to invest in the capability needed to support our customers. But growth isn’t just about getting bigger.
It’s about being ready for what comes next.
Our successful JOSCAR registration is another step in that journey, opening up further opportunities to build relationships across the Defence, Aerospace and Security supply chain.
