Last weekend, Sweeptech was privileged to have one of our specialist road sweepers take part in the historic Cart Marking Ceremony at Guildhall in the City of London.
Dating back more than 500 years, the Cart Marking Ceremony celebrates excellence in transport while recognising the evolution of the vehicles that support the UK’s transport infrastructure.
The inclusion of a Sweeptech specialist road sweeper alongside a diverse range of historic and modern vehicles highlighted the important role that specialist highway maintenance equipment plays in keeping the nation’s roads safe, clean and sustainable.
Participation in the ceremony reflects Sweeptech’s ongoing role in driving innovation and raising professional standards within the road sweeping sector, while underscoring its commitment to delivering high-quality road sweeping and environmental services across the UK.
Sweeptech extends its thanks to the Worshipful Company of Carmen and the City of London for the invitation to take part in this longstanding tradition, which continues to celebrate the heritage, innovation and contribution of the transport industry.
