Sweeptech is delighted to announce that we are headline sponsors of the National Drainage Awards 2023. The awards, which will take place in November, are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence in the drainage industry. Our sponsorship of the awards also received coverage in the latest issue of Drain Trader Magazine.
The National Drainage Awards are open to all contractors, whether they are members of the National Association of Drainage Contractors (NADC) or not. The awards cover a range of categories, from innovation and sustainability to health and safety, and there is even an award that recognises the contribution made by those who work behind the scenes to support front-line operatives.
Martin Smith, CEO of Sweeptech, said:
“As a member of NADC for many years, we were really excited when the idea of industry awards was first proposed and wanted to get involved from the outset. We had no hesitation in asking to be headline sponsor and were delighted when NADC agreed to add an award that recognises the contribution made by so many people working to support the front-line operatives. We are looking forward to the Awards Dinner in November and congratulating the winners in the different categories.”
The winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges, and the awards will be presented by former heavyweight boxing champion Frank Bruno MBE. In addition to the awards ceremony, Bruno will also share some of his memories from his time in the boxing ring in an interview with NADC Chairman Julian Wynn.
Contractors and suppliers who would like to be nominated for an award can visit the Awards tab on the NADC website. The cost of the dinner is £80 + VAT, which includes all drinks, food, and entertainment.
The National Drainage Awards provide an excellent opportunity for companies to showcase their achievements and demonstrate their commitment to excellence in the drainage industry. Sweeptech’s sponsorship of the awards highlights their dedication to supporting and promoting the industry, and their commitment to recognising the hard work and achievements of others within the sector.
