For several years, Sweeptech vehicles working at night have been fitted with red pedestrian awareness lights that clearly indicate a safe perimeter. We have now adopted a policy that every new vehicle in our fleet should be fitted with this additional health and safety feature.
As a 24 hour operator we have to ensure the health and safety of our staff, our customers and the general public in all operations, particularly at night.
Our process requires the team to brief customers about the safe working distances during operation and how they must not enter the “Red Zone” without authorisation.
