Emergency Flood Response

Flooding is caused by drains, river channels and flood defenses being overwhelmed by extreme flows of water. This can happen very quickly and Sweeptech Environmental Services have flood emergency response teams on call 24 hours a day 365 days of the year to deal with these circumstances.

Our flood response teams can minimise the disruption brought to major infrastructure such as transport links, power and water supplies.

The summer 2007 floods brought to light how susceptible businesses & communities in England and Wales are to flooding. Since then we have improved emergency flood management capabilities.

Resources available

• We have both 2000 and 3000 gallon tankers in our fleet, including specialist vehicles that can operate as indefinite pumping stations without having to leave site to be emptied.
• Other specialist equipment includes pumps and generators.
